Weekend Away

This weekend Tracy surprised me with an early birthday present. We were SUPPOSEDLY going to visit my parents for the weekend; but after we crossed the border, Tracy informed me that we would just be dropping Paige off at their house and continuing on by ourselves. This was a big deal because it was the first time we would leave Paige overnight.

So, Tracy had made a reservation at the River Rock Inn in Arlington, WA (about an hour south of Blaine) soley because it was nearby a disc golf course that I had never played at before. (some of you may not realize what a disc golf nut I am since it's something I've picked up since moving to Vancouver--to give you an idea, I have a portable disc golf basket in the back of my car (thanks Mom and Dad!) along with my discs and new disc golf shoes)

We had a great time playing disc golf all afternoon Saturday and then enjoyed a relaxing evening at the B&B. Our room was awesome and the whole Inn was very fancy. Sunday we went to REI and played some more disc golf before returning to my parents' house in Blaine.

I'm glad you had a good weekend, we did too. Paige was so much fun and such a good little baby! Tracy was so excited to surprise you. We thank God for answering our prayers for nice weather, if the weather had been like today it won't have been to much fun!

We love you, Happy Early Birthday!
