Paige is now 18 months. A year and a half, CRAZY! She is just growing and learing new things every day. I wanted to do a post of the things she is doing and saying these days...
Things she says:
Dog
Home
Turtle
Shoe
On
Off
Fish
Banana
Mama
Dada
Papa
Grandma
Hi
Hannah
Yes
Horse
Tree
Eye
Baby
Outside
Animal sounds she makes:
Horse
Sheep
Monkey (puts hand in armpit, moves elbow up and down)
Fish (moves lips open and closed)
Cow
Lion/Bear
Her movement:
She still scoots on her bum a lot. (no crawling)
She is starting to pull herself to standing on most things.
Just starting to climb the stairs.
Starting to regularly pick stuff up off the ground while not holding onto something for support.
Stands still for longer periods of time. (not holding anything for support)
Can sit down and get up from her little chairs.
She runs around the house.
Sign laungage she knows:
All Done
More
Eat
She knows lots of hand motions to songs. Loves listening to music and dancing. Still just LOVES books. She will even trun the books right side up to look at them properly.
She follows most instructions--whether it be fetching something, delivering something, or follow me when I ask.
She is still very serious and cautions. Strangers for the most part still get the stare down. She is bonding with some of our friends and it's fun to see her get excited and go to them when they come into sight. She is becoming more willing to explore new places without holding our hand.
She says "ess" for EVERYTHING. Why she has chosen that sound I don't know.
She loves the water. She loves getting water poured over her head so she can watch it run off her face. She will stick her face in the water when you ask although I think she does it so she can drink the water which I don't like her to do. :)
She has 16 teeth. Two of which are half way down (and two more just cutting through). She has gotten all of her teeth on the early end of the expected range.
She understands everything we say! She is seeming to become more sensitive to us telling her "no". When we do she typically gets sad and wants us to hold her right away.
We love her! She's the best!

It's so fun to see her growing and changing. :) She is starting to look more like a little girl and less like a baby. Which is something I find both exciting and sad at the same time.
So many fun things! You will be glad you kept track of all that info as she gets bigger and you forget that she used to not be able to do all the stuff that she does! :) She looks like a sweety!
