Paigey's first... Is that not cute or what!?!
The other day I had a moment of parenting clarity. I had been struggling with Paige for her to keep any type of clip in her hair. She just would pull anything out the second I put it in. For a long time I had decided I did not want to fight that fight, so she went without. Leaving her long wispy hair right smack in her eyes. (and me constantly pushing it to the side) Then the other day I had a thought. How come Paige can obey EVERYTHING I tell her, but I can't get her to keep a stupid clip in her hair. I decided it was because she was DISOBEYING me, not because it was "bothering" her in some way! She knows full well everything that goes on around her and all that comes out of my mouth. So I had a little talk with her and now she keeps her clips in! (The other issue we had was the sun hat staying on her head while out playing. Now that stays on as well!!) So watch out, ponies, clips and bows here we come!!!

That is super uber cute, but I feel bad for Paigey. She is correct. Clips are evil!
She looks so grown up without pigtails. Glad you won that battle. She has a strong will at time.
Clips are annoying, but mommies like them. Glad she listens most of time. We all have battled hats, esp. even boys. Just think, some day you'll have to choose your battles.
